Do you ever put something off because you don't want it to be over, or end, or to eat the last one?
Me either!!... except for The Season Finale of One Tree Hill, my last bag of Cadbury milk chocolate easter eggs, and really realllllly good book series :)
Like 50 Shades of Grey
The first book, I started out kinda slow... the first few chapter didn't overly impress me at first. I've read enough books I could probably open my own book store. Everyone had hyped this book up that I almost pre-ordered the whole series! I was expecting an epic twisted love story from cover to cover. Just as I was about to categorize Ana as your typical girl with a college girl crush on major successful and equally sexy Christian Grey... the book takes a unique twist.
I won't go into too much detail incase you haven't read the books but let's just say. I rushed out to buy 50 Shades Darker and 50 Shades Freed before I was even half was done with 50 Shades of Grey. I probably finished the second book in one day.
Here's the kicker... I can't bring myself to read the third one.. I just can't. I don't want it to be over. I don't want to know how it ends up because usually in "those" type of stories (you know the ones where the princess can't always ride off into the sunset with the prince) it never ends how I want it too. I wonder how authors decide how to end a book. On one hand they can read it happily and how the reads expect and hope. Or they could end it more realistically. Right, because so many people want to read about people how life really is. Poopy diapers, cleaning house, not always getting the guy instead of dream weddings, huge mansions with summer houses on the coast, and full time nannies for the football team of kids they are going to pop out.
So there is my secret of the day, I can't bring myself to read the last book of 50 Shades.... I also really haven't watched the season finale of One Tree Hill, or eaten my last bag of my favorite Cadbury Easter candy (I had 3 bags).
PS - There may be a rise in population 9-ish months from publication date (too cute)
