How can summer be flying by so fast? I can not believe all the changes that have happened in my life since I moved up here.
First and foremost I'm so happy to be out of my small town. I love my job and my staff. There are a blast to work with and we have fun.
Second I am writing this from my new iPad :-) yep I finally caved and got one. Well my parents did. For my birthday. I'm officially old too by the way. Quarter life crisis old. I haven't had Internet for so long though I have kind of forgotten what to do... I really just want to catch up on all my tv shows. I'm addicted to Fifty Shades of Grey. Technically I'm on the second book, Fifty Shades Darker. I'm almost done and I love it. I don't know what I am going to do when I finish is series! I do have dozens of other new books to read from when I finished the Hunger Games and didn't know what to read next. Things that have happened since my post:
1. I had my gall bladder out. It didn't work. Like at all. And it took forever to figure that out but we did and now I'm without a gall bladder. Greasy food made me sick. And liquor. And acidic juices. Fun stuff. Sometimes everything I ate made me sick. Now it's just random. So much better... Anyways that was my first big surgery and it was interesting to say the least. When did hospital gowns get so fancy??? Mine was purple, ubber padded, and it either heated or cooled me depending on my preference!! Um wow. I never thought I would be comfy in a paper hospital gown. They were five star. The pain after the surgery. Not so much. Talk about being uncomfortable. I still can't sleep on my stomach. I got car sick after like 15 seconds. And all I wanted to eat was rice, pretzel bagels, and plain pasta.
2. My roommate brought a cat back from home with her. I thought I liked cats. I don't. At least not this one. Plus I am allergic. Joy. This cat is so annoying. And needy. And taunts the dog. Plus she got a fish. I feel like I live in a zoo. We are like the Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly. And when I had Bella up for a visit it was miserable. The cat did nothing but hiss at her the whole time and the dog would have hurt her if they would have been anywhere near each other because the dog has no control and no one has any control over the dog. So Bella went back to the grandparents for awhile.
