So Long West Virginia... Hello Pennsylvania

I have been MIA on here but I return with lots and lots of changes, big news, and stories! To start at the beginning when I disappeared I moved from West Virginia to Pennsylvania. Not what I was planning at all! If I was moving I was thinking

south
coastline
sunny days
preppy clothes

Not snow storms the day I moved, sweatshirt nights, and a pond with a blow up palm tree (jk).

But you know how they say everything happens for a reason??

My friend Autumn over at Mrs in the Making describes The Greenbrier which is where I worked before perfectly. There I was a Food and Beverage Supervisor over Beverage Carts on the Golf Course in the summer and Banquet Supervisor in the winter.

My best friend who also was a supervisor at The Greenbrier was coming up to PA for an interview and wanted to ride with her. I was tired of being cooped up inside my house and wanted to see the resort she had been talking about so I agreed. We get up there and meet her friend who had worked with her before who had set the interviews up and we sit up most of the night talking about the resort and what it has to offer. They joking say I should move up and work there too... well the next day I get a phone call and 10 minutes later I was being interviewed in my jeans in a sweater and sent for processing. It's been a whirlwind since!! I now live in a Mountaintop town called Farmington and work at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort as a Lead Supervisor for the Caddyshack which is the two story indoor/outdoor restaurant located on the golf course. I still help out with Beverage carts and occasionally in the Tavern the restaurant my best friend and our friend that convinced us to come up here work at. She is the assistant manager and he is the manager. She and I are roommates in a pretty sweet townhouse.

Sounds like a pretty sweet life huh? One minor detail... the area is SMALLER than where I was living before!! The closest grocery store, semi mall, wal-mart, target, movie theater, fast food restaurant, any restaurant, ANYTHING  is at least 30 minutes away and includes going down a huge mountain. Not my idea of running a quick errand. There is a good and a bad side to this... good being I never want to go so I don't spend money... bad because when I do go I probably spend way more money than I should! Being only 45 minutes from Morgantown and about an hour from Pittsburgh and some fantastic shopping and outlets is amazing though...
