I'm a boring married old lady

I've realized I'm a boring married old lady.... except I'm really not all that old yet, and I'm not married yet either. I am however boring. I have nothing fun to blog about. My day to day life consists of nothing but work and sleep. If I have any free time with the boyfriend we play video games or watch dvds. I am sure you would be super excited to hear I have beat both Lego Harry Potters and Lego Batman 2. Lego Indiana Jones and Lego Lord of the Rings are kind of boring for me though. Can you tell I am kind of obsessed with the Lego games. They are so fun. We finally finished Heros. It was a pretty good series. It kept getting weirder and weirder and I hate when a season just doesn't get renewed instead of having a series finale. So the show really didn't end. We just started TrueBlood. In a random sort of way, I love it. I don't even know why. It's so crazy and I don't even see a point or a plot but I love how Bill says Sookie's name lol. We watched the first season in like 3 days and just started the second season. It's entertaining and holds my attention.

Lately I have been addicted to Jodi Picoult books. I've been reading one right after another. Usually I switch my authors up not to get bored of one but she is sooooo good. Right now I am reading Handle With Care and it's amazing. I just finished Sing Me Home and it was great too. I can't wait to read the one she wrote with her daughter either.

I'm a little disappointed with Valentine's Day weekend. We were supposed to spend it in Washington D.C. My boyfriend spent his high school years being a page at the White House and they are having a class reunion this weekend. It was going to be awesome. We were going to get to have a reception in the White House and the Speaker of the House was going to talk and have a tour of a few other things. I was completely stoked as I haven't been to D.C. since middle school. I couldn't wait for a weekend away and some time to eat good food, shop, and explore the city. We are just too busy at work this weekend to take it off though. :(

So instead we are planning a Spring Break trip (nope no romantic getaway, son and extended family too) to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Which is fine as long as the weather is nice. I would be super excited to shop that weekend however I have to save up for hopefully a big trip with my family (more details soon). At least I won't have too many expenses that weekend. I am sure we would have spent way more going to D.C.

Now that everyone is caught up on my super boring life, I am going back to my awesome book.
