Clothes, Books, & Movies

If it wasn't for clothes, books, and movies a girl could probably save some money. I will have to start posting some pictures of the super cute things I have been finding. Some great deals too. Who can say no to a deal? This girl can't. One of my new favorite designers is Lauren Conrad at Kohl's. She has the cutest clothes. They are always light and flowy. And if Kohl's doesn't have something in a color or size for you, you just scan the tag on this kiosk and it will order it and ship it to your house for you! It was very convenient!

Have I mentioned I have a HUGE HUGE HUG collector of Hard Rock Cafe shirts? I have them from all over the world. When I went to see my brother this weekend he had not one but THREE waiting one me! Phoenix, Munich, and Bangkok. It was like Christmas! I should really count how many I have now. One day I am going to make a quilt out of all of them.

I downloaded Evernote on my iPhone. Very useful app. Download it. You can take notes on anything. Save websites. Voice notes. And organize them into notebooks. This nerd is currently organizing all her favorite authors and the books she already owns. That way when I am out shopping I know if I already have the book or not. I also start a list for books to look for. Yes, I have read so many books I can't remember. I have borrowed some. And I want to start completing my collections. And go back through my older books and see if I can get rid of any. ha yeah right. I have enough books to open my own book store or library. I am currently read Jodi Picoult - House Rules. love her books. Fifty Shades of Gray came out today, I must remember to pick up a copy of that. It's a trilogy and the two come out in like two weeks. It sounds like it's going to be a great book.

I have a small problem with buying every chick flick I like... and I like most of them. The good news is I don't go see most of them in the theaters where it costs as much as buying to movie! I think I am a collector... I have a feeling kids movies will soon be in the mix especially if I think it's a good deal! I'm doomed. I better get a good paying job or marry rich. Or both. At least find a husband who can accept my obsession with shopping.

I think I need to learn to thrift.. At least with books? most people read them once and get rid of them.. so I think I will start book hunting:

  • Nicholas Sparks
  • James Patterson
  • Jodi Picoult
  • Lurlene McDaniel
  • Debbie McComber
  • Janet Evanovich
  • Luanne Rice
  • Sophie Kinsella
  • Nora Roberts
  • Sarah Dessen

Maybe if I am reading then I won't be shopping? Just a thought.

I am starting to get the hang of blogging. I have final come across some super cute blogs that I want to follow, figured out how to add peoples buttons. Now I just have to figure out how to make a cute button of my own, and remember to blog about interesting things!

I like your button! It's cute, good work! It took me a long time to get the hang of blogging. I will say that some blog give our blogging advice, and always read that, because it's very helpful! :)
